A ceramic coating is a liquid-polymer layer that bonds to your paint and cures into a hard, glossy shield. Once it’s on, water beads and sheets away, road film and contaminants struggle to hold, and every future wash gets easier. At the JD studio in Abbotsford we install it the way it should be done — over decontaminated, corrected paint, cured indoors in a controlled, dust-free space.
We offer two lengths: a 3-year coating and a 5-year coating, each a certified installation backed by a written warranty. Which one suits your vehicle depends on how you drive and store it — we’ll walk you through it at the inspection.
Why it’s done at the studio
Ceramic curing needs controlled conditions — filtered air, stable temperature, proper lighting to catch every imperfection, and time to set without dust landing on fresh coating. A driveway can’t offer that. Bringing the vehicle to the studio is what makes the finish last as long as the warranty says it will.
Correct first, then coat
A coating locks in whatever is underneath it — including swirls and scratches. That’s why we correct the paint first, so the gloss you see on day one is the gloss the coating protects. If your paint needs it, paint correction is done before the coating goes on.
