Guide

What goes into a quote?

Why you won’t find a fixed price list here — and why a five-minute look at your vehicle gets you a better number than any online estimate.

Every detailer’s instinct is to want a price up front — that’s fair. But an honest detailing quote isn’t a fixed menu item, because no two vehicles arrive in the same condition. Here’s what actually goes into the number, and why we look before we quote.

Why detailing prices vary

Two cars booked for the “same” service can take very different amounts of work. A quote is built from:

  • Condition. Lightly used paint and a tidy cabin take far less time than heavy swirls, set-in stains or years of neglect.
  • Size. A compact car, a full-size truck and a three-row SUV are not the same job.
  • The service. An interior refresh, a full correction, or a certified ceramic coating sit at very different levels of work.

Why we look first

A quick, in-person inspection is the fastest way to give you an accurate number — not a lowball that grows, or a padded estimate that assumes the worst. We see the actual paint and cabin, confirm what your vehicle needs (and what it doesn’t), and quote that. It takes minutes.

No surprises, no obligation

The inspection is free, and you get your quote before any work begins. If it’s not the right time, there’s no pressure — you leave knowing exactly what your vehicle needs and what it would cost.

Bring it by the Abbotsford studio, or send a photo of the paint with the contact form, and we’ll tell you straight.

Ready when you are.
